“Jason Whitehorse and his team deliver! We had a breakage between the water line and house line which quickly escalated into a big problem one evening that needed to be looked at right away. Called multiple plumbers and Jason was the only one who showed up even though it was dinnertime. Jason competently and quickly diagnosed the problem and assembled his time to be onsite the next morning. By the afternoon, everything was fixed and done very professionally. Jason was honest, competent, responsive, and professional - he’s definitely your go-to guy for all plumbing issues!”

“A plumbing emergency is of course never pleasant but these guys made a bad situation acceptable. Jason (with coolest last name Whitehorse) was the only one that came to help soon after we started panic calling a bunch of plumbing companies in the evening hours. Friendly and straightforward, and showed up next morning with a crew to professionally handle every step of what turned out to be a rather involved repair. “I was pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule an appointment. They called when they were 20 minutes away and showed up ready to start. Jaime and Alex were excellent. Well mannered and professional . They worked efficiently with Jaime in the crawl space and Alex in the bathrooms turning on the fixtures that Jaime needed to check for leaks. What I had feared would be a major repair turned out to be able to be fixed by tightening two joints. I appreciate Jaime’s honestly because if he had told me the joints needed to be replaced, I wouldn’t have known otherwise. His honesty saved me $700. Thank you for sending out Jaime and Alex. I highly recommend them.”

“Found a slow leak from my water heater on a Saturday morning and started calling around for assistance. At 3PM I got through to an operator at General Plumbing and Rooter. She said a technician would call with an estimate. At 4PM, Carlos called to tell me he was in Oakland and would be by in 45 minutes. He arrived just after 5PM and discovered a leak coming out of the drain valve on the water heater. He simply turned it off a bit more and stopped the leak. While he was here he drained the heater just to check the valve, capped the leak and shared some pertinent information about water heaters in general. All in all, a very positive experience from a man on his way home on a Saturday. If you ever need water heater help, please do call General and hope you get Carlos as your technician. He is the best!”

“GE sent the replacement part (pilot assembly) for our water heater covered under part warranty, but not labor. We called General Plumbing and Rooter company to handle the installation. After taking the defective part out, the service person (Jason) realized the part had a different design than the original part. He called to consult the issue with his boss (Carlos) who in a short time showed up to our property and got on a call with GE support to resolve the issue. This unanticipated issue caused the service time to go from one to three hours, but Jason and Carlos stayed the extra time to fix the issue. Throughout the activity they were very nice, professional, pleasant and honest. This company is run well by good people. We will use them again, and highly recommend them to others.”

“I had to call someone to come out to my house to unplug my sewer line because it was backing up… I called on General plumbing to come out and give me an estimate on trying to fix my problem. They were very prompt in coming which was so awesome being this was the day after Christmas. Once they got here the plumber told me it was much more then just unplugging my toilets. He let us know we had a couple options either a band aid fix which would eventually lead us back to having them come out again or a new trenchless sewer line replacement which is what I went with. From the beginning with their awesome office staff being so helpful to their crew coming out quickly to get me back up and running it’s been nothing short of amazing!! They handled everything from start to finish with such professionalism, prompt and awesome service!! I will only use them from now on and I would totally recommend them for any and all your plumbing needs!! The crew that came out was so good and efficient to the office staff Marissa who was nothing short of perfect!! Thank you guys again your the best!!”

“There is no one better!! You know how the Holiday’s can be, full of family, and full of waste!! Our toilet overflowed at our xmas Eve dinner, and they were able to send someone over within 2 hours!! He was able to snake that toilet and made sure the lines were clear so we didn’t have any issues into the New Year. Cris on the phones was simply amazing, she heard my concerns, and handled it with swift efficiency. The other girls in the office were amazing in processing the payment swiftly, and were totally courteous. You HAVE to use them if you are looking for quality plumbing that is honest and swift!”
